The main feature of this display is the high resolution of 1280 x 768 dots which makes this panel especially suitable for displaying HD content. Together with the outstanding viewing angle enabled by Toshiba´s VMW technology this panel fits most to multimedia applications like in Rear-Seat or In-Flight-Entertainment applications. Due to integrated functions like the LED Sidelight with built-in current source an integration into space-limited applications is much easier. The cell of the display is based on the polysilicon production technology which stands for efficiency of terms like aperture ratio, power consumption, emissions and mechanical strength. The display is available as sample from Q2- 2010 on. Demo units are available in between upon request. The mass production is scheduled from Q4- 2010 on. picture similar
